Waiting for an Upgrade - Version: 3.7.4, 4/17/2008 07:54PM PST

I have used this application for several years. I love it! It is the only reason I have not upgraded my Mac operating system to 10. I am still on System 9 so I can keep using PhoneBook Plus! Please upgrade soon to Leopard so I can.

...since anyone reviewed this excellent little app. It is one of two reasons I keep Classic on my machine. It is not perfect — the cosmetics could do with a make-over — but it's a damned sight better than the OSX Address Book. I've asked the author if he would do an OSX version. I hope he decides to.

It is more free-form than Address Book. You can put anything you want, anywhere you feel like. It will store any amount of text and any number of entries. Fast to launch, easy to use, I love it. Bug-free, small ram footprint, Apple could learn from this.

A truly nifty little program! It does everything I want it to do and nothing I don't want it to do, i.e. it loads instantly, is flexible, and best of all doesn't do any graphics boogeying or try to prompt or second-guess me. I can't imagine working without it.

This one works. For those of us that still use OS9, it is nice to see that programs of this type are still being updated and maintained. I found it easy to install and pretty much intuitive to use. I especially like the free form format availabe for entering comments in the book, I often want to put in a detailed memory jogger for some of my older phonebook entries. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased to see that this simply excellent PIM for any Mac running Os 7-9.2.2 will be maintained. If you do not have a Palm Pilot or do not want to bother with confusing Palm software that adds extensions to your system, this is the app for you. It is especially portable, easy to back up, and therefore very valuable if you have a business.

So many of us rely on our Classic Macs to run customer databases, faxing programs that really work, and other important info we can't entrust to "experiments" like OS X, so the news of this application staying current is quite welcome.

This application was created with the spirit of the simplicity, and has the same reliability of Classic Mac which I don't think we will ever have again in newer systems.

I think it is a big mistake for Apple to drop support for OS 9 but glad developers have not yet gone that route.

... for anyone looking for a simple, small footprint (screen & memory) addressbook. room for improvement, but the developers are very responsive and say they are busy at work on updates.
