Product Description:
Phonebook is a full featured contact management program for Mac OS. Among its features are:
- Full contact database with address fields, name and or company designation, multiple phone numbers, and free form notes fields.
- Multiple phone books
- Small footprint is very handy for PowerBooks, iBooks, and other small screens.
- Contacts may be segregated using color coded categories, and selectively displayed

Waiting for an Upgrade

I have used this application for several years. I love it! It is the only reason I have not upgraded my Mac operating system to 10. I am still on System 9 so I can keep using PhoneBook Plus! Please upgrade soon to Leopard so I can.

...since anyone reviewed this excellent little app. It is one of two reasons I keep Classic on my machine. It is not perfect — the cosmetics could do with a make-over — but it's a damned sight better than the OSX Address Book. I've asked the author if he would do an OSX version. I hope he decides to.
It is more free-form than Address Book. You can put anything you want, anywhere you feel like. It will store any amount of text and any number of entries. Fast to launch, easy to use, I love it. Bug-free, small ram footprint, Apple could learn from this.

A truly nifty little program! It does everything I want it to do and nothing I don't want it to do, i.e. it loads instantly, is flexible, and best of all doesn't do any graphics boogeying or try to prompt or second-guess me. I can't imagine working without it.
