WaMCom Troubleshooting ReportText problems with Wamcom/Mozilla and other programs - Version: 20030723, 7/29/2004 04:14AM PST

I switched to WaMCom after seeing soem favourable reviews. Had it for a day and it seems good (****). Like netscape 7 but more streamlined. However I have the same bug with this program as with netscape 7. It must be a bug with the Mozilla skeleton. When I have the browser open and another mail app like Lotus or Outlook, I cant type text in the other program. Must be an extension clash or something. Anyone else found this problem, or know how to fix it?

WaMCom ReviewFinally - A browser that satisfies! - Version: 20030723, 3/17/2004 10:30PM PST

This browser has been very stable in 9.2.2 - I have nothing but praise for WaMCom.

The one feature I really, really, really miss from IE is the "internet scrapbook" feature.

Although I use a screen capture program it doesn't allow me to select text and click links. If 'scrapbook' is hidden somewhere in WaMCom's features please post a quick tip.

WaMCom ReviewFast and solid!! Rock steady!! Rock on!!! - Version: 20030723, 2/20/2004 10:11AM PST

I tried this browser after Explorer just gave out completely and started locking up my computer every time I logged onto eBay or Amazon. I hadn't much hope because my system is an updated 9600 with a G4 implant and multiple SCSI drives, with a dated video card but plenty of ram. With a cobbled together system I'm used to patching and updating piece by piece, and I was prepared to need patches to get any browser to work. Unfortunately there were no patches available for IE so I started searching for an alternative. I couldn't believe how incredibly stable and fast this browser is -- and it has all the bells and whistles of IE and Communicator (at least all the standard ones.) I've been surfing the web since '94 and this is the best browser I've ever had (and I've tried too many to remember!). If you are having any problems with your Mac online (or crashes in other programs after being online with IE) and are sick of finding cache crumbs in your trashcan every time you reboot please do yourself a favor and check this out. IMHO, the developers deserve to be canonized. Thank you thank you!!
