Griffin iMate Troubleshooting ReportCd Tray bug fixed? - Version: 2.7, 10/27/2003 02:25PM PST

Diego Cuoghi
I found a way to avoid the CD tray bug of iMate. I added a tilde (˜) before the name of the iMate extension and also before the Wacom tablet extension. In this way the two extensions load at the end, and the Mac do not eject the CD tray.

Griffin iMate ReviewOK as the first writer said with no ext or control panels..... - Version: 2.7, 6/3/2003 02:53PM PST

Wierd....I got this 6 months ago, but my computer was buggy with hardware, so I took everything out for a long time. (G4 1000 dual processor-OS 9.2.2)

I just hooked my tablet up again with the griffin i mate, and it's working fine, with no reinstall of the imate driver. I don't understand it, I did a search for griffin and nothing came up. Yet, the old Wacom ArtIIz tablet seems to be working fine with the 4.7.6 driver.

Go figure........

Keep your fingers crossed!

is still popping open. before i reformatted my hard drive, i found that disabling one of the imate files (either the extension or the control panel) fixed this problem and still allowed me to use my tablet.. haven't been able to duplicate this. i'll experiment on it again this weekend. griffin.. this seriously can't be that hard to fix.
