after installing, and after uninstalling i can't acces the WAN anymore, LAN still works... on other networks i can access the WAN, but not on network, and other computers have no issues, very weird....

SMB snobs say, DAVE is indispensible for the vast majority of Mac users that are in a Windows environment or have home cross-platform networking /printing issues. SMB does not work well and is a nightmare for the non-technical person to use, and isn't that what Mac is all about? Easy to use; DAVE makes it easy to use. Continued congratulations to Thursby!
