Product Description:

DarkAdapted is useful for astronomers and others who need to preserve dark adaptation while using the computer. DarkAdapted controls the three gamma channels (red, green, and blue) independently. It also provides full control over preset gamma settings, fade rate, and gamma toggle keys.

A lot of software developers seem to have forgotten those Mac users that still rely on OS 8/9 and OS 10.1x (which are STILL THE MAJORITY, even admitted by Apple). Some Macs can't run newer OSes.

This is a great application whether you're into Astronomy or not (I am), where ever there is low light levels while you use your Mac.
