the best tool for monitoring status and performance of your wireless network when using Mac OS 9. It works far easier than for example KisMAC for Mac OS X. Version 1.5.3 adds some nice tweaks of the interface and it works more transparant. It would defenately get a 5 star rating from me when it would also show a more graphical readout of signal and noise levels. A little icon like AirPort for Mac OS X's to show the signal in the menu bar would make it a double 5! Thanks for this great application Andrew!

fine now. I find ClassicStumbler great for monitoring the status of my networks. It helps with the best placement of wireless access points and the choice of best working channel for every access point. It also helps finding access points from others. This can be the only way to find out where the interference on your own connection(s) originates. I really like this OS9 application and I use it daily; thanks for that Andrew! o

and awaiting approval from TechTracker. 1.5.1 fixes the bugs mentioned by macSkogens and a few other preferences related issues. This version shouldn't have any ugliness left in it... ;-)
