fine trial balloon. But restating as justamacuser has accurately commented, "not ready for prime time" as far as some of the displays' quality. And the vibration of the slide is absolutely NG, but probably correctable since the cursor is steady. Have you noticed that after trying to position the slide, if you will attempt *very* small movements of the silde it will actually settle down? Unfortuinately, I never learned how to use the functions on the Faber-Castell, so I believe the Pickett 6" is the runaway easiest to read and use even though it is too basic to assuage my nostalgic pangs. I would have preferred a 10" version, however. Give me a 10" K&E Log-log Deci-Trig any day. And, if I didn't know what to look for on the other Pickett rules, they would be thoroughly unusable. A glass background for the cursor should be provided so it can be more easily grabbed, and if possible, there should be an option of a sharper hairline. I hope this effort is fixable - it is a fun addition to any '60s and prior geek's computer. In the next release, do we get the belt clip to impress the girls? Great toolbar icon!
Nice idea, but…

doesn't quite deliver. The rulers are scanned, with some being quite unsharp. The Faber-Castell is the one that's best to read. Noticed an odd effect while dragging the center slider, where the image would start to "vibrate" around the mouse position. Would have a nice "geeky" touch to it, but with the current implementation, i'd rather not show it in public if i were out to impress somebody.
