Product Description:

Gadget provides a variety of utility functions including:
  • test pattern screens
  • calendar and time functions
  • column width calculator
  • image size calculator
  • string metrics
  • character viewer
  • and many more

    • What's new in this version:

    • Added Circles test pattern.
    • Added Generalized test pattern screen and settings panel. This test pattern allows specification of colors, spacings, sweeps, and steps.
    • Added Quick Set panel for configuring size and aspect ratios.
    • All test pattern screens now include the aspect ratio in title.
    • Added RPN Calculator.
    • Added Pixel Clock calculation tool.
    • Added String View tool.
    • Reworked the Image Size tool.
    • Reworked and enhanced the Scaling tool.
    • Added partial text encoding, variant, and Unicode support to the Characters and Text tools.
    • Now loads screen sizes, aspect ratios, refresh rates, paper sizes, and bits/pixel from a gadget.txt file.
    • Added ability to copy/paste screen sizes, paper sizes, and colors among tools and screens. Added "Swap" buttons where applicable.
    • Added File Save menu item to all tools and screens.
    • Mandelbrot tool is now off by default.
    • If the preferences file cannot be saved in the system standard place, the application now attempts to save into/load from the application's directory.

    you need a "screen test" ("mire" in French), vectorized, printable, free. Three things that seem to lack to a lot of programs... This one is simply a great way to print patterns and make TV-like screensavers... Good little image app' .
