Good GUI for OS9 and looks good in OSX environment. Works flawlessly for me. This NotePad has, on a scale of features from 1-10 earns an 8 when compared to other note pads whether it be commercial or shareware. Since all apps can be improved, it earns 4 1/2 stars from me. To Amoslan, the review should have been listed as "n/a" because the review is not about the app but a problem that's an experiential system problem. If this Type 3 error was relevant to many users, I believe this would have been fixed by now.

notepads on a launch palette for easy launch. Each operate in a different manner and are used according to the information being collected. 1) The simple Apple notepad for ultra quick launch & easy access to jot down temporary information ( ie- a phone number I am going to use in the next five minutes). 2) The more complex Notepod for noncritical notes I am going to store for a while, but need some organization. 3) And finally, NewNotePad Pro, for long term archival purposes. (ie class notes, personal thoughts etc) Kinda organized like 3 by 5 notecards, it pretty much has all the features one would want in such a program, including the ability to make as many notepads as needed. This new version is pretty much the same as the old version, except it prettier, faster, and more user friendly. Think OSXish rather then OS7.5ish. One cool new feature is the ability to store pictures in a note. If you paste a picture into a regular note, you get a full sized picture and the ability to add written words. If you paste a picture into a photo note, the picture is resized to fit the note. However, no written comments can be left from what I can tell. Overall, certainly worth the upgrade fee. Lots of options to configure the notepad if you do not like the default configuration. No installation problems on my iMac 600, OS 9.1
