I used iData Pro for years and as soon as I saw it in the VersionTracker.com daily list of updates, I knee-jerk clicked on it. iData Pro, however, is the older, lighter, less powerful version of the iData products. The "pro" in its name is now a misnomer. The real professional-caliber product nowadays is iData 2
I just checked VersionTracker and found that the latest iData 2 is version 2.1.8:

Under OS 9.1 I have been unable to open files "imported" from QuickDex, InfoGenie, iData X, Bookmarks, Tab delimited, nada, zip, zillch. The only files that open are the demo files downloaded with the program. I have ruled out an Extension conflict. What gives?!
