PixNewsPro ReviewFiles saved with "text" as creator - Version: 1.0.1, 4/17/2004 08:44AM PST

Now at version 1.0.5. With version 1.0.1, graphic files were opened by default with Picture Viewer ("ogle"). Since version 1.0.2, PixNewsPro saves .JPG or .GIF files with the creator "text". It's a pain and I must use an extra software to change the creator of the files to my preferred graphic application.
I would like to be able to choose the applications to open the files downloaded based on file extensions. The software should create new folders automatically when the current download folder contains a preset number of files. Mac OS 9 is very slow when a folder contains more than 5000 files.
Other than that PixNewsPro is a good software

laming on OS 8.6 and use Thoth for yenc. It's a great program. Doesn't it work on OS 9?

PixNewsPro ReviewI haven't had… - Version: 1.0, 9/11/2002 05:43PM PST

any problems downloading yEnc files and it does the job pretty fast, faster than my old PixMachine. It does bug me that it doesn't have an icon under 9.2.2, looks genetic (hand writing in a white paper with a pencil) also is a pain in the neck to block a poster. I don't think right now... 9/11, this application is worth 40 bucks.Maybe in the future with added bells and whistles like hulkhulk said.
