review here is for the printer, not the driver, here's my 2 cents: I downloaded the file, expanded it, double clicked the installer in the DISK1 folder, and ran the install. The installer stopped and asked for DISK2 to be inserted. Had to quit out of it. Tried again- same thing. Out of curiousity I double clicked the icons in the DISK2 and DISK3 folders and got splash screens for a Hotline 1.8 installer (!?). Trashed the download, downloaded again, same thing. Tried unsuccessfully to make disk images of the Epson disk folders. Same problem on other partions. Epson E-support's fix failed, too. OH- they said I can order the driver for $9.95...right. 8600/200 with OS 9.0.4, 8.5.1, 8.1.

same results as Paul Edwards - unable to install because it wanted disk2 to be inserted. After an hour on the phone with Epson trying to demonstrate that there really was a problem (they didnt seem to want to believe me), they agreed there was a problem, and offered to let me buy the drivers for $10. No way! I'd rather never buy from them again.
