am using the ProTools Ikey with my new G4 and really hated not having the eject key to open the drive for me to put in a CD or DVD. THANK YOU!!! As for anyone complaining that it wont eject with a disc in the drive. It shouldn't, thats why you drag it to the trash can. :)

been extremely helpful to me. Apple has a utility that is somewhat similar to what this one does. It generally comes on the OS9.2 disk. BUT, this product will only eject the internal drive. Which is great! For instance, what if someone has external drives hooked up with media inserted, the only option is to use Apple's keyboard eject button or their software. But if I only want the internal drive opened, this software is the only one that does it. Great work!!!

a CD is in the drive. Why use it if it only works half the time?

of five! This one goes to the top of my Apple menu. Just goes to show how a teeny little program can make a big difference.

my iBook with the lid mostly closed, sitting on a shelf above the external monitor. Now putting a CD in is not such a major process. Great job David!

same set-up as rx7. It would be nice to know why the tray won't open with a cd/dvd in it, freeware or not.
