Product Description:

This free application (previously called 'PC-Mac-Net FileShare') is a powerful media center with integrated file sharing, web server and data backup over LAN/Internet. The Lite Edition can play music and full-length full-screen movies (with wireless PDA remote control) without restriction, but has limits on file transfer size, data backup, and some media functions after 30 days. The commercial Standard and Professional Editions do not have all these limitations. The MacOS Classic version offers file transfer and remote folder sync only.

Kenbushi converts any computer into a home media/backup server
All editions (Lite, Std, Pro) can now play full-length full-screen movies without restriction
Remotely control media playback using any PDA with Wi-Fi (Pocket PC, Nintendo DS, etc)
Skipmarks(TM) allow segments of movies (such as credits) to be skipped during playback
With looping enabled, users can repeatedly play only selected segments of a movie
Wireless PDA slideshows with auto-scaling, auto-rotation, and superb image quality
Integrated Web server with super-simple setup for home users
Media bookmarks, to save the play position in movies and music
New mute, playlist shuffle and loop controls for media playback
Instructions for building an inexpensive Ubuntu Linux-based home media/backup server

Version 4.6.0 Problem with resource Forks - Version: 4.6.0, 6/13/2005 05:45PM PST

My quick check seemed to show that Version 4.6.0 no longer correctly showed the presence of a resource fork when browsing an OS 9 Mac from Windows XP. Has anyone elses seen this problem?

With this program, I finally got my old Mac communicating with Windows computers, and it transfers files and folders over the Internet as well! PC-Mac-Net Fileshare has opened up so many possibilities, and I really like the fact that they have made the lite version free. When I get my new Mac and start using MacOS X, I can also keep using it.
