CopyNo ReviewThis "copy protection"… - Version: 1.4, 7/20/2002 01:10PM PST

WhoIsGregg?
is a collection of javascript tricks that WILL definitely deter the casual or uninformed web user from taking your images. However, like the developer admits, it will NOT prevent theft. Oddly enough, the developer does NOT use CopyNo on his own site (bobstaake.com) which is a model site for this type of protection. (I didn't scour the entire site, maybe he only uses it on a few of the dozens of original illustrations there.)

CopyNo ReviewUsing iCab as… - Version: 1.4, 6/27/2002 09:46AM PST

The Tigerabbit
a browser is sufficient to defeat the "protection" this provides, even if the JavaScript is turned on in iCab. Try again.

cheap if you don't happen to be a javascript wiz I reckon - simple idea that does not claim to do to much. Detering casual copyright theft is proven to be an excellent method of REDUCING the problem. Nothing solves it of course, but it helps so give it a rest. And no i don't work for Melonsoft before you ask.
