Product Description:

Maxprog is proud to present its new product, eMail Bounce Handler, a bounce e-mail filtering and handling tool. Bounce e-mail (sometimes referred to as bounce mail) is electronic mail that is returned to the sender because it cannot be delivered for some reason. Unless otherwise arranged, bounce e-mail usually appears as a new note in your inbox. E-mail users can encounter bounce e-mail because an addressee has changed his or her address, because their mail box is full, because the note is misaddressed, or for some other reason.

What's new in this version:

You can now deactivate message size checking.
Message size checking size is now editable.
Message size limit set to 25000 bytes.
POP and IMAP over SSL better command/response synchronization.
Mailbox pointer not properly restored in given conditions.

Is this a classic App, rather surprised to have my machine kick off classic when I launched the Appl. Not very used to seeing things launch in classic these days.

I've been using this in conjunction with the same company's MaxBulkMailer to send Text/HTML newsletters to a list of several thousand subscribers. My inbox used to get crammed with hundreds of "undeliverables" each time, but now I just run this first to collect the undeliverables, save them to a file and drag and drop to delete them from my master list. A huge time-saver!

The only bug is that when I drag and drop in to MBM, it also removes any info in the list that's not the name or e-mail address. So I save a duplicate copy of my flatfile list to maintain comments and extra info that people submit when they subscribe.
