What's new in this version:

Problems with job cancellation in Mac OS 9: Cancelling a print job in Mac OS 9 prevented further jobs from printing, and in some cases, prevented users from restarting the system using the Finder's Restart command
Print jobs disappear before printing: Print jobs would start, but the Adobe PressReady RIP would terminate before the job could print
Failure to report printer status: In some cases printer status was not displayed or was displayed incorrectly

Press Ready is… - Version: update, 6/23/2001 10:51AM PST

a great product. However, support for new printers, specifically Epson's new photo printers, is not yet available. I use InDesign along with other graphics software and Press Ready makes a difference. Why is an update called version 1? Only 4-stars because of lack of printer support. Hope to see new printers before the 18-month window is up.
