6 does NOT work with OS9+9.0.4 - you have to use the 5.1 extension. Otherwise great product + speedy support.

was quite impressed with this application and installed it on my son's computer. I then removed it from mine per the instructions in their manual. However it seems to be still active on my computer and is filtering out some very innocuous sites. It would not allow me to down load from the Aladdin Systems site. Does anyone have any suggestions? I cannot find a support or contact link on their home page.

(I haven't tested yet), filters well. Cons: the split-second view of pages as the filter decides if its offensive; the filter by "analogy" doesn't work well and filters out many things that it shouldn't. I wish you could set it to just use the database and not its own bad judgment; I have tried adding URLs to my exclusion file and it didn't work. For some reason, my password stopped working recently. MAKI support sent me an app that clears the password, but it doesn't work either. Hopefully that will get cleared up. MAKI tech support is responsive via email and mostly helpful. As you can tell from the website, English is a second language. Overall it works pretty well, but still has some issues I'd like to see worked out. I'm using version 5.0. Phoenix, as to a simple not available page, I think you can do this. You have to direct your URL to a file on your own server.

agree with Phoenix DownUnder though; Internet Explorer 5.1 will load the page and flash the page before switching to the default address. Kind of a problem if the kids were to see pictures that flash on the screen. Another suggestion: Let's say my daughter does a search for Britney Spears through AltaVista. We all know what some of the results will show. Could you filter out links, text, and animated GIFs with adult links?

to be the first reviewer here and I'm completely independent!! Overall its not too bad. The rendering beforehand issue in Internet Explorer is a problem, but its quite quick to switch to the UpdatePage. We have created a separate ultra short UpdatePage available from our servers for our own use and it seems to work reasonably well. BUT www.pl*yboy.com is still viewable before the UpdatePage switches in. Nice way the URL's are protected!! ResEdit. Suggestions I - a simple "Not Available" html page could be sent from a local webserver or a switch to the "Home" page. Could be much faster. 2. Can we view the logs on the screen rather than to a file? Where is the log file? 3. Can we have an easier way to add in "bad" sites and kids sites. Overall KidsGoGoGo "ain't 'alf bad!!" Tested on OS 8.6 and 9.2.2 but not X yet.
