eMail extractor is a very powerful tool to extract email addresses from all kind of files. eMail extractor is very fast, easy to use and multithread. eMail extractor retrieves absolutely all valid email addresses from any file and generates an output file with only good and well formatted emails without duplicates. eMail extractor supports drag and drop from Finder with both Mac OS classic and Mac OS X like any other Macintosh tools. You can use eMail extractor for:
- Processing big amounts of error messages and returned mails from your last email campaign
- Retrieving emails address from your mailbox files
- Retrieving emails from your Internet email subscribing system files
- Arranging badly formatted files. (with all kind of data and several emails per line)
What's new in this version:
- Output can be formatted as tab, comma (csv), colon and semicolon delimited text.
- Support for VCard and Microsoft excel output format.
- Duplicate output file can optionally include source file and line number.
- Bad e-mails output file now includes source file and line number.
- ISO quoted printable and binary decoder with support for all ISO and Windows encodings.
- Filename added to bad e-mail file data.
- Output files renamed to input file name + type (good/bad/dup) + '.txt/.vcf/.xls'.

well, it's a good idea. it's a shame it doesn't work, though. I tried dropping files that contain nothing but email addresses on it and I'll is did run the barber pole. Won't pay for something that I can't try out first.
