Product Description:

AppleScriptable Macintosh Telnet application offering full-featured color emulation of IBM 3279, DEC VT220, and PC-ANSI/SCO-ANSI terminals. Features include flexible and easy-to-use key remapping, macro script recording, integrated edit windows, modeless dialogs, and ZMODEM and TFTP file transfer; modem and other serial connections can be used with the ASCII terminal emulators to access BBS. dataComet runs under all Macintosh system software from System 6.0.7 through MacOS 9.0, supporting modern MacOS features while maintaining backward compatibility.

What's new in this version:

Improves MacOS X compatibility under the Classic environment, brings features (other than encryption) and bug fixes up to date with the latest release of dataComet-Secure.

general purpose telnet who also happens to emulate 3270 terminals. Which makes it more complete than Brown University's tn3270. It also supports ZMODEM, something common in good Windows clients yet sorely missing from Mac clients. I liked it, although I keep bettertelnet as my most used client.
