says it does, and does a great job collecting information from website visitors who want to receive my clients' update mailings, and makes it easy for folks to remove themselves or modify their info in the database. (I'm not a spammer. Mass mailings are not always spam, despite some of the comments on this board.) However, my podunk ISP couldn't handle the script or the filesizes generated when trying to send mail, so have your ISP tech support look it over to see if they can cope, and/or if using it violates their TOS. Also, a bit of a drag to set up at first, and the very frequent updates are something of a mixed blessing and tend to undermine confidence that THIS version will have addressed all the issues. Great support from Craig though.

of attacking software you don't want to even try or buy and use?! What good is it to attack Craig Richards who makes it possible for serious people to communicate with other serious people? Come on, guys, get out of here - this is not the kindergarten section. My rating for this serious software is 5 stars (even if it were only for Mr. Richards support, the best I got in more than 20 years with a computer). as an antidote to unsolicited commerial email (SPAM) by featuring built-in code for one-click removal by any recipient of emails sent with BigSender who prefers not to be contacted. Further, BigSender is mostly used by those who publish newsletters, announcements and other routine correspondence to the list administrator's opt-in constituency, much like announcements you receive from VersionTracker or news from other sites such as c|net, news.com, abc.com, msnbc.com, etc. BigSender has also become quite popular among managers of fan sites as it's proven helpful for eliminating list-administraton tasks and lets users focus on staying in touch with more impactful messages. BigSender actually helps list administrators comply with proper netiquette and evolving laws designed to discourage the broadcast of unsolicited commercial emails. Thank you for checking it out and for submitting your opinion, giving me an opportunity to address this important issue!
