so far. Same basic features as Dave 2.5 but interface more up to date and cleaner. Access from Win9x is fast but access from Win2K machines is considerably slower.

I am having tcp/ip issues wih OS 9.0.4, wherein I don't get connected (DSL using router and DHCP) unless I open the TCP/IP control panel, make some cghanges, and then save the settings. Don't know if this is caused by MacSOHO. please anyone report if they have similar problems.

again. I want to clarify the difference between MacSOHO and DAVE. According the the MacSOHO 1.0 Help files, "If your network uses NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT) instead of NetBUI, then the Thursby product you need is DAVE."

solution for Mac & PC file sharing. I have this set up on my home office network connecting a Win98 PC to an iMac DV+. The set-up is easy on the Mac side, although the Windows networking configuration can get tricky (not because of MacSOHO though). This has saved us a lot of time and hassle sharing files.
