Archive enables you to quickly catalog your disks and then when you need to find a file, just type in what you are looking for and it will return a list of all files that match your search criteria, what disks the files can be found on, and even detailed information about the files.

What's new in this version:

Version 6.0.1 modifies the search interface behavior to use return or enter to initiate a lookup for better performance with larger catalogs and searching all catalogs.

..with this app. It's not worth the 20 dollars. If you are going to pay good money, buy CDFinder as has been mentioned in previous comments. This application doesn't hold a candle to it. I don't know if CDFinder is 'year 2000 compliant', though...lol.
