in a "Read me" file, but I would appreciate some indication in the VT description as to whether the developer has any plans to port, carbonize, or otherwise rewrite this under OS X--and, if so, whether there will be any upgrade policy for late adopters of the OS 9 version.

piece of software, no doubt. No quite as robust as the PC-only TopStyle, but very definitive all the same. However, it still needs an option to use CSS shorthand. It's unnecessary bloating to have every margin side and every padding side defined in a seperate line. The same goes for font definitions and attributes. It'd be nice, at least as a preference, to be able to write "margin: 5px 4px 10px 11px;". It would cut down on the weight of the style sheet.

Freeway is a good idea, but HTML is way more complicated than Softpress makes us believe (IMHO)

see this little web design group has forgotten - or probably never heard - that magical word Freeway. It's actually the most powerful wusiwug progame around what does all your css style sheets for you, handles any dynamic effects you care to have and beats the pants of Dreamweaver et al without having to linger in the codeworld. So for all oif us who hate the sight anything codey/scripty Softpress's Freeway 3.01 is all we need to keep a geekfree head and create as wildly or smoothly as we choose. Esem´plasy is the unifying power of imagination. But good luck to those who make an effort to ease the drudgey code path to cool webdesigning. And that's worth a five in anybody's language. Except for geeks of course!
