Seahaven CommentaryRegistration problems - Version: 1.1, 11/21/2006 09:00AM PST

I came across this game when looking for a replacement for my much-used Classic version. I liked it and decided to pay the registration fee to unlock the extra facilities.
The payment (through PayPal) went OK but no unlocking code ever arrived, despite several e-mails requesting it.
So make sure you get an e-mail from the developer before attempting to register it!

I've played this version of seahaven, the mike's cards version, and the longwood version. Of the three this version feels the most 'modern'. Mike's version doesn't have the solve feature. The longwood version feels very much like an old mac app, quaint but ugly, slow and pixelated. I'm addicted to this silly solitaire game. Like I said, I have all three versions. I used to play Mike's version. Now I've switched to this version. I hope they keep making more versions.

I think it's funny that the other reviewers are talking about loyalty and irritation and a solitaire game at the same time.

If any of you play the Longwood Wizard's Guild version, you'll immediately recognize that this is not the better of the two products. What amazes me is that this guy even went so far as to use the name of the original (obviously an attempt to build on the success of the original author's work). Actually, it doesn't amaze me so much as it irritates me to see someone do this. My advice? Don't bother with it. Get the real thing.
