Product Description:

World Championship Mah Jongg Solitaire is the classic mah-jongg solitaire game but with a lot of extras. There are 19 tile sets, more than 100 layouts, and a lot of backgrounds and music. Players can also build their own layouts and play one of three bonus games. When a player plays a standard mah-jongg solitaire game, they get a score based on the number of tiles removed and how long the game lasted. They can submit this score if they are connected to the Internet. The best players from around the world are listed in high score boards.

World Championship Mah Jongg Solitaire ReviewDirector Apps are no better than Java apps! - Version: 2.0, 2/24/2004 03:04PM PST

Mac Num
At first I was exited about another Mahjong, then I saw the price. $20 is what the other high-end Mahjongs go for, so I'm expecting something pretty slick, which this app is not. This seems to be a Flash app (Director Player) mascarading as a Mac OS X app. Being such, it has the same problems that java apps have, meaning it's slow on response, and does not have a standardized interface (no menus except basic app menu to quit).
Several times I got a "Director Player Error" message with "Script error, continue?". If you click no, then app quits ASAP.

Burning Monkey is more stable and fun. Give it a go for the same price.
