Better to forward the Hotmail to your main email account so you don’t really need to use this

I was happily uisng HTTPMail with Tiger and all worked as advertised. After I upgraded to Leopard and HTTPMail 1.51 it hasn't worked well at all. When I first install it I am able to use it for maybe a day or so. After that it re-downloads e-mails I have deleted or moved, and eventually the Mail program locks up. If I delete ~/Library/Mail/Bundles/httpmail.mailbundle and ~/Library/Mail/HTTPMail-myaccount@hotmail.com I can re-install, but it just crashes again eventually.
Mail in Leopard now won't work at all

Downloaded the latest httpmail plugin so that I could keep my hotmail account and use my new Mac Pro with it's MAIL program, which is totally cool, but now it won't work at all.....and I have to force quit the program so I can shut down the computer. My system is the Intel system with parallels installed.
My recommendation is that you don't use this in it's present configuration, although it seems to work for some folks. My computer is brand new with hardly any additions or outside software installed.....I was just trying to get into hotmail through the MAIL program.
If anyone has this experience, you need to post it so that folks like myself will be adequately warned. Hopefully a fix will ensue, as it appears I'm not the only one feeling the pain.
