Product Description:

Take Transmit, our long standing, very Mac-like FTP / SFTP client. Then, add a ton of new features, including column view, tabs, a sidebar, new favorites, search, dock status, spring loaded folders, iDisk and WebDAV support, and much more.

The end result? We think it's the ultimate Mac FTP client, with more innovative features than anywhere else, and it makes FTP as simple, easy, and fun as, well, the Mac!

What's new in this version:

  • Re-worked preview drawer to avoid unnecessary file transfers and cancels, thus avoiding possible transfer stalls
  • Fixed a possible crash when changing selection quickly and right-clicking
  • Fixed several Dutch preference captions so they are no longer being truncated
  • Fixed S3 uploads with files greater than 2 GB
  • Fixed S3 problem when copying European bucket URL's
  • Fixed a problem in which files may be deleted when moving them into a subfolder
  • Improved S3 copied URLs when connecting to the EU S3 server

Transmit Troubleshooting ReportUnable to connect to sharepoint - Version: 3.6.7, 5/31/2009 04:00AM PST

As the Finder and Safari in OS X 10.5.7 still have a bug in uploading to sharepoint I tried Cyberduck and then Transmit. But with both of them I can't even logon: "Could not connect to server "xy.kftg.ch" User authentication failed". Although I can do a login with Finder and Safari with no problems. So be aware: Using Transmit as a better replacement for Finder might not work!

Hello,

I could need an extra feature in Panic Transmit for creating a scheduled backup via FTP/SFTP.

Scheduled FTP/SFTP backups should include:

- Days (Monday - Sunday)
- Time
- Pre-selection of a "Favorite" (including "Remote Path")
- Pre-selection of synchronisation settings (Synchronization direction, Synchronization method, Options)
- Destination folder for creating a local backup of an entire web server for example

This would be awesome.

afterhours
I've rarely had any problems with Transmit, and this bugfix release is no exception. File transfers are clean across three different kind of ftp server environments. No issues.
