cocoabliniMX 2004 just churns on memory too, and does not seem to provide anything new to make it worth it. It hangs on text selection, it takes about 30% longer to do stuff now. I hate to say this, but its TERRIBLE. Don't bother until the patch is available...
Excellent potential...

mkw68The best toolset of screen-targeted layout by far, but boy does Macromedia need to hire some decent programmers and QA staff. Some that had used a Mac before would be nice too.

Open Incident with FireworksMX2004 still not resolved - Version: 7.0.1, 12/7/2003 09:22AM PST

hdininThe update does not resolve the problem. I continue to have to use FireWorksMX (v.6.x) for a major project... They seem stumped. I'm pissed about a fractional loss of money for a StudioMX 2004 upgrade which is partly unusable...
In all other respects the product (installation, use, etc.) seems fine, but it's not usable for me.
Updater STINKS

blizzastrCrashes during a "search of the hard drive". What exactly do they need to search the whole hard drive for?
Crashes hard regardless of normal user, clean user, root user, extensions and startups disabled... Bad. This needs to be cleaned-up Macromedia! The tools are far too expensive to not be able to use them!
