the claim that this is "easy to use" is wrong. I couldn't work this thing out, or figure out what it thought it was doing, including why it kept wanting to go out on the internet when I wanted to try and publish on a local server. I just don't understand why this *has* to be so complicated. Blogging is putting text on a page. Isn't that the most basic form of web publishing, and should therefore be the easiest to accomplish? I had to trash this because I didn't/couldn't get anywhere with it.

it to be utterly stable on my PowerBook running MacOS 8.6 and it does far more than I understand how to do with it. You can run one or multiple weblogs that can have completely different appearance and content. It is easy to get going with it and seems to be a well thought out product.

a fantastic product! It works as advertised making it easy for anyone to publish their own weblog without any knowledge of HTML or scripting. It also provides an easy path for those who want to begin scripting custom functions without having to understand the underlying object database, which in the past has been a deal stopper for some people. For advanced scripters it provides a feature rich web application platform including support for XML-RPC and SOAP. Radio UserLand is rock solid. I've run it 24/7 for several months and it never crashes. It's easily worth ten times the price.

have no idea what the he11 the single-star reviewers are talking about. It starts quickly, is extremely intuitive and easy to use, and costs less than $40. I run it on a 233MHz Powerbook and I haven't suffered any performance problems yet. If you blog, get it. If you keep a journal, get it. I can't see how anyone can be disappointed in this excellent app.

its feature set for the price. Still very buggy and a resource hog on every Windows machine I've tried it on. Security is nonexistent, as it relies on sending username/password account information through firewalls in plain text. Only significant if your business is somehow dependent upon blogging. For regular folks, it is far too complicated and needlessly opens your machine to added security risks by tunneling through open port 80.

as advertised. I'm sick of reading scriptingnews about all the new features and itches dave has scratched, but nothing about bug fixes. Until this product is stable, it is not worth the $40.

the Review guidelines, I don't see how the comments of Jan 13 and Jan 16 qualifies, in any way. Product works, as advertised.
