Badia BigPicture for QuarkXPress ReviewBP 4.01 - Version: 4.01, 7/24/2009 01:16PM PST

Erich Pohoralek
After some long exchanges by e-mail, I'm more than only happy, that Big Picture works with QXP 8.02 as it has done for long years with all other versions of XPress.
But more than this: the individual contact with Badia was always friendly, prompt and fast – even when the problem could'nt be solved at that time.
Badia – a great company with a big heart for the user and and of outstanding competence in XTensions for XPress. (I'm no fan of Indesign...)
If you may lough about my poor English – don't worry: I'm so happy with Big Picture again, I can easely stand it!
Best regards from Switzerland, Eric

I have had problems with Quark crashing, after sending the crash report to Quark they have told me that Badia BigPicture has caused the problem and after removing the extension it is fine but I am missing this excellent extension. Is anyone else having a problem?

mention that BigPicture is simply the best. All production workflow managers, check out the great "FIND AND LINK" feature, which is indispensable to retreive images -for example on a server- used by the Quarkfile but not putted in the appropriate folder by the graphic designer. Tired of a lot of "Missing pictures" in your Collect or Flightcheck or Quark, simply use Badia BigPicture XT and you can retreive every image on every Volume in the network. (It even keeps the correct scaling and doesn't replace your pict in the "100% view" but simply resolves the problem) GREAT GREATER GREATEST !!!

demo and used it for a while. After it was expired, I missed it so much that I bought it immediatelly from their store. A musthave for every professional Quark user. Extremely helpful to check your document and to resize evrything at its proper scale which allows you to have the best possible output. (I use it to make very big booths at a 25% scale) THE BEST !!!!
