bug tracking is how groups of developers and testers track the bugs in software under development. if you are not a developer or a tester, then you don't need to bother with this.

a lot easier if this and MySQL used the Apple Installer. I'm sure it works just fine, but I'm not going to be spending time fiddling out how to get it to work.

it at the office and at home. I modified bugzilla to manage all of the tasks for my wedding. Wedzilla! You can do more with it than just track bugs, you can use it as an issue tracking system. Still would like to see due date and actual date fields in it, as well as other project management tools.

slightly modified version of Bugzilla at work for generic task tracking, all pretified for management, replacing NAI's MAGIC helpdesk. We're looking at replacing 3 more internal systems, including Rational's development tracker. Here's to the Mozilla folks! GREAT STUFF!

an application, albeit a web application. It's no different than saying that Amazon.com or Versiontracker.com are web applications. But more to the point, Bugzilla is great and continues to improve with every release.
