MacGPS Pro CommentaryPersonal developer support - Version: 8.4, 9/30/2009 01:49PM PST

KenSmithNZ
As a new user I was very pleasantly suprised at the personal support I got directly from the developer when having a problem with imported map calibration. This is becoming increasingly uncommon in a world dominated by either automated email responses or phone helplines that are never answered. Thank you Larry.

MacGPS Pro CommentaryBarely Improved - Version: 8.4, 8/8/2009 11:22AM PST

Mikofox
Developer claims in his upgrade email:
Many Interface Improvements such as: The map window position, size, and scale are preserved when using Auto-Open to switch maps across UTM zone boundaries.

That's fine and dandy, but how about fixing window position between quitting and opening of the application? Or when resizing the map window to full screen that the window does not move under the menu bar? Also wouldn't it be nice if the application would remember the settings one checks of under 'View'? Or generally more use of standard Mac OSX keyboard shortcuts.

I really think it's time to fix these problems.

MacGPS Pro ReviewMacGPS Pro version 8 works with Australian ECW maps - Version: 8.3, 12/26/2008 04:00PM PST

I don't know what the previous poster is saying. As of version 8.0, MacGPS Pro imports my Australia's ECW-formatted map files. I had placed a request for support of these maps a while ago, and the developer responded. What more can I ask for? This program works flawlessly.

Good job!
