Product Description:

More than a clock! Displays the current level of natural light (daylight, twilight, or night), sun and moon rise/set times, moon phase information, local times and country flags for cities throughout the world. VelaClock takes advantage of the Dashboard feature introduced in Mac OS X version 10.4 Tiger.

What's new in this version:

Added a second lower detail panel; a quick swipe of the finger will move between the two panels. The new panel displays
- Times for sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, and three kinds of twilight (civil, nautical, astronomical) for both dawn and dusk.
- Azimuth of sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset. Azimuth (compass direction) is specified in degrees, 0 to 360, clockwise from North.
- Daylight duration in hour and minutes. Change in minutes of daylight from the previous day.
Show time of next sunrise or sunset and moonrise or moonset in first lower detail panel.
Allow the Daylight Bar to alternate between 'centered at noon' and 'centered at current time' views. To change how the Daylight Bar is centered, tap the triangular shaped button located on the bottom bar. This button is only present when the Daylight Bar is visible.
Added additional cities including three U.S. National Parks: Grand Canyon, Yosemite and Yellowstone.
Updated the following time zone rules:
- Pakistan ends Daylight Saving Time on Oct. 31, 2008.
- Mauritius starts Daylight Saving Time on Oct. 26, 2008.
- Choibalsan, Mongolia is now UTC +8 hours.
